Recognizing Arabic letters

Post by Blue on Sat Aug 09, 2008 4:29 am

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh,

I was thinking about what to discuss next, and it would’ve been ideal to discuss pronunciation of each letters especially those letters that don’t have any counterpart in English language, but I find it hard because you have to listen to know how to coach the person.

And I don’t have any teaching experience which is another problem, but there’s a section and I just happen to know the language, if there are experts hiding please step forward, in the meantime, if you can suggest what to discuss next it would be very helpful.

Ok, after that intro, I’ll just put some examples of how the letters would look like in the written form; I grouped them into the following groups:

(letters in each group will look alike, just pay attention to where the dot is placed)

P.S: i didn't know how to create a table here so i just put a screenshot from MSword.
